“ Ordered the daily pasta and the side of pork belly. First starting with service- great, although there was a full resturant the servers were attentive. Second, the food was amazing. The pork belly side was one of the best pork belly dishes I had in my life, perfectly lean and tender and sweet and sour. The pasta was a fusion of creole and Italian flavors that blended perfectly with the mushrooms and chicken thigh. ”
“ Dine in Vancouver menu for two for 110 was great value and good portions. Dishes came in at good pace, and we were done in 1h15min. Paid 7 extra for the focaccia, which was crispy and yet fluffy and very fragrant thanks to the rosemary. The bison tartare was tasty, fresh and well seasoned. Special mention to the mushrooms and mash potato in the lamb shank. The different layers of the chocolate dessert (salted caramel, chocolate crumble, whipped cream) mixed in well and were very decadent. Great selection of wines in the 25 wine pairing. Really loved the full body Pentage Tempranillo from Okanagan valley served with the lamb, and the Port served with the dessert. Olga was our waitress and took great care of us tonight, thank you! ”
“ Oh Fable Kitchen, you made my birthday feel like pure magic! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by name (even though it was my first time!) and led us to a cozy table where a handwritten birthday card awaited. That sweet, personal touch set the tone for an unforgettable night!!! We began with chickpea fritters that were delightfully crisp on the outside and lusciously creamy inside, each bite balanced by a silky vegan curry mayo, tangy ribbons of pickled onion, and peppery arugula. For drinks - I asked for a mezcal sour, and they delivered the BEST one I’ve ever had - smoky, tart, and flawlessly balanced!!! My friend ordered a pineapple spritz with a splash of vodka, which he loved! The April tasting menu felt like a storyteller’s arc: a crisp, vibrant salad studded with sweet apple and toasted seeds; a perfectly seared halibut fillet that flaked into buttery ribbons alongside miso-roasted carrots and a golden potato rosti; and finally, a molten chocolate lava cake whose rich, oozing center met its match in velvety vanilla gelato. I can still taste the deliciousness as I write this!!!! My friend’s vegan ragu pasta was a comforting hug of tender ribbon noodles bathed in a rich, vegetable-forward sauce - heavenly. All in all, the kind and attentive service, with an intimate candlelit ambience, alongside an open kitchen - Fable Kitchen is truly a Vancouver gem!!! ”
“ We had an incredible experience in Fable Kitchen. We got the tasting menu, bread and butter, and the ling cod. The bread was a cheese focaccia - amaaaazing, I hope the chefs continue making this, delicious butter too! We also loved the vichyssoise it was beautifully smooth and indulgent with a perfect balance of flavour. The service was great and the mood and was lovely. ”

“ Good overall experience. For a Michelin restaurant we were expecting small portions but were pleasantly impressed with ample plates. Cassidy was our server. She was super friendly, attentive and helpful. The only sad face emoji was when we were met and sat by the hostess. Kind of a sour reception and seating... but quickly improved when our server arrived. ”
